The Guitar Hero was a big sucess and we look forward to bigger and better next March----- a big Melville clap to all who helped make this day fun!

The Melville Lion's, second annual, participation in the Huntington Village tulip festival that took place on May 2 was a success! 100% of Net proceeds raised that day will go back into the community. Our goal was to show the community what we do and who we are. Spending a Sunday at the park meeting our neighbors is a great way to get our name out there. We are always looking for new members who are as community oriented as we are. We look forward to participating in the Huntington Fall Festival, in October. so look for us there.

Once again, the Melville Lions helped the community by participating in a Lions, district wide, food drive to raise money to help those in need. All food collected at the Waldbaums Shopping Center on Route 110 by the Northern State Parkway, was distributed to the Helping hands mission in Huntington as well as to Madonna Heights. Members of the organization, as well as Leo's from Half Hollow West High school, participated in collecting ten bags of food. If you wish to volunteer in our community, consider joining our organization.
