At the August 1st cabinet meeting, the cabinet approved The Diabetes Awareness Program to be a district project.  There is no cost involved with this.  The purpose of this project is to bring diabetes awareness to more people.  Prevention is better than a cure.  So each club has been assigned their own personal link that will take those who click on the link to their club web page where they can take the Are You at Risk for Diabetes quiz and read other information about diabetes.  All we ask is that each club ask their members to post this link with a brief description of its purpose on their social media sites (Facebook, twitter, etc.) and ask that your friends and families share the link, besides taking the quiz.
